The winners of the IRIDA Film Award were announced in Sochi

The VIII Russian-British International Film Festival and IRIDA Film Award (SIFFA 2020) and IRIDA Music Festival were held in Sochi. For five days, a competent jury selected the best works from among 50 submitted films.

Due to the pandemic, the film screenings and the music part of the festival were held online, thanks to which those spectators who did not have the opportunity to come could become part of the festival. This year, a competition for feature films, full-length documentaries, short films (documentaries, fiction, animation) were added to the program, as well as a separate screening of films shot on mobile devices.

The Sochi International Film Festival and IRIDA Award (SIFFA) is a Russian-British open international film forum held twice a year: in Sochi and London. The film festival was established in 2016 on the personal initiative of Lyubov Balagova-Kandur.
