RUR concluded an agreement with VDFS (Austria)

RUR concluded an agreement on representation of rights and exchange of remuneration with the Collecting Society of Audiovisual Authors (VDFS) – the Austrian society which represents the interests of Austrian authors and performers (actors) in the sphere of cinema.

The agreement will help to protect the rights of directors, actors and other cinematographers in the sphere of private copying and provide effective international management of such rights.

Cooperation with Austrian colleagues will allow to carry out collecting of the remuneration for private copying of audiovisual works for Russian right-holders in the territory of Austria and, accordingly, in favor of Austrian authors in the territory of Russia.
