RUR concluded agreements with American societies AARC, AFTRA, AFM and AFM/AFTRA Fund

RUR concluded bilateral agreements with AARC (Alliance of Artists and Recording Companies), AFTRA (American Federation of Radio Artists) and AFM (American Federation of Musicians) societies and AFM/AFTRA Fund – organizations which represent the interests of the American performers in the sphere of music and cinema.

The agreement will help to protect the rights of performers in the sphere of private copying and provide effective international management of such rights.

Cooperation with American colleagues will allow to carry out collecting of the remuneration for private copying of phonograms and audiovisual works for Russian right-holders in the territory of USA and, accordingly, in favor of American actors and performers in Russia.
