Alexander Klevitsky will take part in The Guitar World festival
The Academic Grand Concert Orchestra named after Y. Silantyev, led by Alexander Klevitsky, a composer, Honored Artist of Russia, member of the Council of Russian Union of Rightholders, will perform at the XXIII International Music Festival “The Guitar World”, which will be held in Kaluga town from May 25 to 29, 2020. The opening ceremony will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the legendary QUEEN group.
Musicians from Austria, Spain, the USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Germany, Armenia and many other countries will take part in the concerts of the festival. In particular, Anabel Montesinos and Marco Tamayo, Dmitry Illarionov, Stanley Jordan and Bunny Brunel, Michael Duker and others.
Each day of the festival will traditionally have its own program, which includes a variety of styles and genres of guitar music: classical music, Russian music for guitar, romance, jazz, flamenco, latino, country, fusion, ancient music, guitar with symphony and chamber orchestras, blues, rock and experimental music.
The first music festival “The Guitar World” was held in Kaluga in 1998. The idea of organizing this festival belongs to Oleg Akimov, a musician, producer and author of numerous international musical projects.
