The “Radiant Angel” Film Festival showed over 150 films from 12 countries
On November 1, the opening of the XVII International Film Festival “Radiant Angel” took place at the Victory Museum in Moscow. For the first time, within the framework of the festival, live broadcasts were organized for viewers who could not attend it due to the sanitary and epidemiological situation.
The competition program included 82 films in the following nominations: “Full-length feature films”, “Short films”, “Documentary films”, “Animation”. 46 films were presented in the out-of-competition program. As part of the retrospective shows, 25 films were shown to the public. In total, 33 debut films took part in the festival, including 18 debuts in the competition program.
In total, 360 films from Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, USA, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic, and Switzerland sent their applications to participate in the film festival. 153 films from 12 countries were selected to participate in the competitive, non-competitive and retrospective programs of the festival.
