The Federation of Creative Industries will be founded in Russia to consolidate industry players

In Russia, the Federation of Creative Industries is being founded to form a full-fledged creative segment of the national economy and its integration into the global market. The initiative was discussed at the forum “Strong Ideas for the New Reality” simultaneously with the presentation of the study entitled “100 Most Creative Russians”, which named the leaders of creative industries (CI).

Human capital and the economic instruments that develop it underlie the CI, which, in turn, become the main drivers of global economic growth, the curator of the 100 Most Creative Russians project, executive director of the Committee of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) on Intellectual Property and Creative Industries, discussion moderator Igor Namakonov, believes: “The purpose of our research is to show that Russia can become a source of competitive creative products and services. We have all the prerequisites for the development of creative industries as a full-fledged sector of the economy. Now we need to start building confidence in this market on the part of business and the state.”
