RUR concluded an agreement with SENA – the Holland society

RUR concluded an agreement with SENA – the Holland society which carries out collecting remuneration on behalf of performers and phonogram producers in the territory of the Netherlands.

The agreement will help to protect the rights of performers and phonogram producers in the sphere of private copying and provide effective international management of such rights.

Cooperation with Holland colleagues will allow to carry out collecting of the remuneration for private copying of phonograms for Russian right-holders in the territory of the Netherlands and, accordingly, in favor of Holland musicians and record companies in Russia.

SENA is also authorized by the Holland society NORMA to collect remuneration for private copying of phonograms abroad and distribute it among its members, and according to the agreement it transfers this right to RUR. NORMA is the collective management society which collects and distributes remuneration for private copying of phonograms and audiovisual works in the territory of the Netherlands.

Now RUR represents the interests of the right-holders of both Holland societies in the territory of the Russian Federation.
